The Special Comitee for Integrated Sexual Education of the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce is offering Sexuality Workshops and Conferences during this school year (Fall 2011 and Spring 2012).
One of the students in charge (who is a personal friend of mine) asked me to design a promotional image with their slogan ("TALKING ABOUT SEX THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE TALKED ABOUT"), but he also wanted me to include a lion (the Campus's mascot) to appeal to the school spirit and make it more likable for the administrative front that has to approve it (the administration is already giving them trouble for the subject matter itself).
He already had an idea of what he wanted, so we talked about it, browsed lion pics, and ended up with this image.
If approved it will most likely be used for promotional posters and/or t-shirts for the staff.
The workshops/conferences are all free of charge, and so this image was prepared free of charge as well.

I personally believe that the fact that this image actually looks cool is because of the awesome photo used to make it.

I would buy this T-shirt. The real question is why the lion feels the need to have the word "sex" shaved into his mane like some neck tattoo.

And of course leave it to the voices of authority in Puerto Rico to be against sexual education. God forbid people use condoms and quit popping out more useless babies to then be strolling around campus and the mall.

also, i don't think the shirts will be for sale, if they are, it'll be to cover workshop and conference expenses.

ah, the word sex on the lion's beard was just a way of them sticking it to the man a bit further in. the original just had the word SEX printed in big bold letters on the front and the slogan on the back, very simple and effective, but the admn thought it was too much to have that word by itself on the front like that.
